What Is the Minimum Order for Wholesale Peptides? Understanding MOQs

A minimum order quantity (MOQ) is the smallest order a wholesale supplier will accept. For our research peptides, the MOQ is 10 vials, and wholesale pricing improves once a single order passes 100 vials — at which point every line on the order moves to the higher-volume price. Understanding how MOQs and price breaks interact is how you control your per-vial cost.

Why suppliers set a minimum order

MOQs exist because wholesale economics only work above a certain volume. Picking, packing, documentation, and support cost roughly the same whether an order is two vials or twenty. A minimum keeps wholesale pricing sustainable — and keeps it reserved for genuine volume buyers rather than retail shoppers.

A 10-vial minimum is intentionally low. It lets a new lab or distributor start a relationship without committing to a pallet on day one.

How price breaks work

Our pricing has two tiers, and the rule is simple:

• 100 vials or fewer: standard per-vial pricing
• More than 100 vials: every line moves to the higher-volume price

The threshold counts total vials across the entire order, not per product. That's an important distinction.

How to structure an order for better pricing

Because the price break is based on the total vial count, the most cost-effective move is usually to consolidate:

• Combining several compounds into one order can push you over 100 vials and drop the price on everything, even lines you'd otherwise buy in small quantities.
• Splitting the same volume across multiple small orders can leave every line stuck at standard pricing.

If you're close to the threshold, it's often worth adding the inventory you know you'll need anyway to cross it.

What about COAs and add-ons?

A Certificate of Analysis is available per line item for an added fee, so you can request batch documentation only on the compounds where you need it. COA add-ons don't count toward the vial threshold — they're a per-line option, not product volume.

Tax, resale certificates, and the final number

The price you see is per vial. Your final invoice also accounts for tax and shipping:

• Tax is estimated from your billing state. If you upload a valid resale certificate, the order is flagged tax-exempt.
• Shipping is finalized on your invoice, since it depends on order size and destination.

Because of this, the cart is a quote request, not a charge — we confirm the real total before any payment.

A simple worked example

Say you need 60 vials of one compound and 50 of another. As two separate 60- and 50-vial orders, both sit under 100 and pay standard pricing. Combined into a single 110-vial order, the whole thing crosses the threshold and every line moves to the better price. Same inventory, lower cost.
